The Going PRO Talent Fund makes awards to you to assist in training, developing and retaining current and newly hired employees. Training must be short-term and fill a demonstrated talent need, as well as lead to a credential or skill that is transferable and recognized by industry.

Dedicated staff from the Bureau of Services for Blind Persons (BSBP) and Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) will work with the business to provide recruitment from our respective talent pools including direct hiring, internships, on-the-job training and apprenticeship opportunities with ongoing supports to HR, management and executive leadership.

Information about helping your employees continue education after high school, such as at two-year or four-year colleges or universities, technical schools or through registered apprenticeships.

Workplace Literacy

Job seekers need certain skills to be successful in the workplace, including strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, reading, writing, problem solving, critical thinking, math and computer proficiency. We can help you access resources, trainings and other services to address.
